Our Newest Member

Well Hello there!

I apologize for not posting yesterday - it seems that I have gotten an unwelcome birthday gift - a bad cold...
I tried so hard to ignore it on Monday because I refused to be sick on my birthday, but it won the battle yesterday.  I literally felt like I could fall asleep while teaching...but my kids were super great about it...it's days like that that makes me love them. :)

So, unfortunately today's post isn't anything spectacular...I have a serious lack of energy.

But...I would like to introduce to you the newest member of our house on a hill...

{I feel as though I should name her!} 

A fabulously unexpected present from my wonderful husband and parents! :) 

He even had it engraved:

The smart cover is pretty awesome too! 

This is only my second apple product (I also have an iPod that is currently MIA) 

so it's going to take me some time to figure it all out.  But it's welcomed discovery ;) 

If only I could take a day, or three, to stay snuggled on the couch with this beauty to get over this cold! 

Do you have an iPad?  Any tips or suggestions for me?
