Weekend Highlights

Good Monday to you!  If you're lucky enough to have the day off (like me) to celebrate Martin Luther King Day - enjoy it!

I'm celebrating by making a turkey dinner with all the fixin's and crafting :) (along with laundry, school work, etc)

Some weekend highlights:
1. My weekend started early when we got our first snow day on Friday!!!  YAY!

    So Peaches and I celebrated by making some homemade banana bread

 

2. Saturday we had a lazy morning that included watching Lion King and eventually made a yummy breakfast: 

{Chocolate Chip pancakes for me, Blueberry for Eric}

Then we suited up to head out and play in all that white stuff

{She is in need of some smaller mittens, I know}

3. Eric & I had a much needed date night!  We went to see the Syracuse Orange take on Providence.  SU was ranked 18-0 and lets just say that they are easily now 19-0!  (Doesn't make for an exciting game but I'm glad they're doing so awesome!  Can't wait for tomorrow night when they go for 20-0 against Pitt)

Warm up...if only these were out seats for the game!  

View from our real seats.  They weren't bad but that's just because they're really are no bad seats.  I do think I had a hint of a bloody nose though ;)

After the game I really wanted ice cream, so we ran through the McD's drive-thru for their $1 sundaes :) 

Overall, it's been a great weekend and I hope the same for you!  Very thankful that we have today too!
